Hey! I'm Jess.

My story really began the moment someone told me I couldn't do something.

I was an angsty teen and because I had failed my junior year math class, I wasn't allowed to take the photography class my senior year of high school. So I said F*$@ that noise, I'll go to college for photography. My SAT scores are garbage but standardized tests aren't indicative of a persons skills or abilities. I continued on to earn my MFA in Photography from Pratt Institute and started my own business in 2009. Nothing lights a fire under me like someone telling me I can't do something!

When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me loving on my girls, cooking and blaming it on the internet if it's bad, traveling with my husband, eating lots of tacos and cheeseburgers, learning how to grow my own food, and reading for 10 minutes before I fall asleep at 9pm.
