I couldn’t have asked for a better day to end my 2017 season with! What an honor it is to photograph a friend’s wedding day and to see them take this journey together. I woke up this day and heard Philly was getting 3 inches of snow and it was going to be falling while we were doing photos outside and I sent a text to Veronica at 7am telling how excited I was for the snow! HA! (sorry).

Veronica and her tribe got ready at her good friend’s house and we hopped over to City Hall where she met Jeff for the first time. I typically like the first time a couple sees each other to be private but this time I allowed the bridal party to peep on them through the doors, it was perfect! Veronica has THE best smile. It’s impossible not to smile when you could see how happy she was and the way her and Jeff look at each other – pure magic! <3

We trudged through inches of snow in a grid-locked Philly around City Hall soaking up all the magical snow. Their ceremony and reception were held at Fleisher Art Memorial which is one of the coolest venues and small galleries in the city. So many guests were stuck in snow and couldn’t even get into Philly and those who were already in the city were experiencing hours of time stuck in the cars trying to get across the city. Although it took a little longer and we moved things back a bit, a lot of guests ended up making it eventually! A fabulous party went down with some very heart felt toasts from family and friends, some amazing dance moves (sorry about your shirt, Justin!) and lots of lovin’ and singin’. All in all, one of the best days of the year hands down!

This classic Avalon wedding was one of the best wedding days I’ve had the joy to be a part of! Kelly and Kevin’s wedding was at the Avalon Yacht Club on a beautiful late summer day. Kelly had a “first look” with her dad which was so cute how giddy he was to see her. Their ceremony was held at a little chapel in Avalon. Kevin ran into some issues remembering his lines haha. Afterwards we drove all over the island photographing on the beach and at the bar in the VERY spot Kevin and Kelly first met. What an awesome experience to be able to photograph a couple on their wedding day in exact same place they first met. Kelly’s cheesy pick up line clearly worked haha. I can’t take a bad photo of these two! I’m loving everything. Kelly and Kevin were so completely in tune with each other, their love just radiated and touched us all.

We caught a gorgeous sunset before their reception began. We heard some of the most heart felt toasts I have ever witnessed. There was no way I was getting out of this without some tears myself. Kevin serenaded his bride a few times throughout the night. It was unforgettable!

The weather was on point. The bridal party was so happy and full of energy. The bride and groom were so in love and I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to get to know them and their families on such an important day in their lives. Seriously, Kelly and Kevin are two extremely hard working, thoughtful, humble and kind individuals. Their families were so welcoming and wonderful to spend the day with. I couldn’t ask for a better couple!

Becca and Andy have been such a wonderful couple to get to know. They met in college and wound up in Boston for work after graduation. Becca eventually convinced Andy to come back down to the Philly area and has since continued to try and make him an Eagles fan – Andy is and always will be a Patriots fan haha.

I am honored actually, this is the first time my name has ever been mentioned in a card to my bride that she read while getting ready! Thanks Andy ;) They exchanged their vows by the lakeside at The Lake House Inn surrounded by their closest loved ones. The evening went on with some napkin hats (still not sure what happened there), and an epic performance to Celine Dion’s – It’s all coming back to me. I couldn’t have asked for a better day with a better family. Congratulations Becca + Andy!!
