Carol and Richard’s Colonial Dames wedding this Fall was one for the books! They met online (like Adam and I did! eHarmony WOOT!) They found each other later in life, but it was the perfect time. With grown children and now grandchildren, life is sweeter together! Carol’s daughter and myself both have two little girls and it was so wonderful to see the grandchildren be a part of the wedding day. They stole the show!

Who Says You Can’t Wear Black to a Wedding?

Carol and the wedding party wore black and white and Carol’s fabulous fascinator tied it all together – she looked amazing! Who says you can’t wear black on a wedding day!? Carol and Richard seeing each other for the first time made me want to cry myself! They are just so happy to be with each other.

Their intimate ceremony and reception were held at one of my favorite venues in Philadelphia, The Colonial Dames. It’s a beautiful little secret garden, hidden away from the rest of Rittenhouse Square. You would never know it was there! I had the pleasure of working with Zachary Andrew Events who made it a wonderful experience from beginning to end for myself and Richard and Carol included.
