Lindsey + Fede have literally encompassed my life for the past few months, and I couldn’t be happier about it! These two have brought me into their worlds in a very meaningful way. I’ve now worked with them through their engagement, and TWO weddings! This wedding took place in Modena, Italy where Fede grew up. His mother helped to plan this wedding for them overseas and it was absolutely amazing!
We all stayed at the Ferrari hotel together where Lindsey got ready for the wedding. Thank you to zio Stitch for being my chauffeur to the ceremony! Lindsey’s brother Danny walked her down the aisle in this gorgeous church in the middle of this little village. Their vows were spoken in Italian, and sounded so much more romantic than any vows could ever sound haha. After the ceremony, the entire party walked down the street to the castle where their reception was held, yes, castle. As the sun set, we causally took some photos together, no rushing, no schedules to worry about, just family and friends enjoying each others company in one of the most romantic places anyone could ever hope to witness.
The evening was filled with toasts, great food, great wine, friends and lots of love and laughter….
I want to say a HUGE thank you to both sides of the family for allowing me to be part of something so memorable and for treating my father and I as if we had always belonged in the first place. Not only did you include my father in your celebration, you made seats for us at the head table to sit with your family. What an honor it was to be included on such an intimate level with families we have only known a short while, I cannot tell you what that means to me. So thank you to my new friends, I hope we see each other again very soon, you have touched my heart…..
