Liz + Dan | Dominican Republic Destination Wedding

Liz + Dan have been planning their destination wedding in the Dominican Republic for the past year and I was happy to be there to celebrate with them a few weeks ago! ;) Their friends and family all traveled to Dreams La Romana to witness their vows in this absolutely gorgeous location. This was the first time I had ever traveled to a tropical location EVER, let alone for a wedding. There are no words to describe the color of the Caribbean Sea, a sight I have only seen in magazines until now.

If you’ve never been, it’s REALLY HOT in the Dominican in June hahaha! I think we all lost a few pounds just sweating the week away. Liz and Dan planned their destination wedding from Pennsylvania and much of the details of the day were DIY by Liz! The ceremony was held at a beachside gazebo with the sound of the waves providing the soundtrack for the day. Dan cracked us all up during their vows, which is clearly one of the things Liz loves most about Dan! The ceremony was followed by an intimate party filled with lots of love, laughter, and fruity drinks ;)
